LINGERIE SIZE GUIDE

The best way to find perfect fitting lingerie is to try it on and see how it looks and feels...  Where better to fit your lingerie than in the comfort and privacy of your own bedroom.

MEASUREMENTS FOR BRA SIZING:

STEP 1. Measure for the Band Size

This measurement determines the numerical size of your bra (e.g., 10, 12, 14). The band provides the majority of the support, so a snug fit is crucial.

  • How to Measure: Holding a soft measuring tape, wrap it snugly around your rib cage, directly underneath your bust. Ensure the tape is parallel to the ground and that you have exhaled to get the smallest possible measurement.
  • Rounding: Round your measurement to the nearest whole number.
  • Finding Your Band Size: This underbust measurement corresponds to an Australian dress size, which is used as the band size. For example, an underbust measurement of approximately 78 cm typically corresponds to a band size of 14.
Underbust (cm) Australian Band Size
68-72 10
73-77 12
78-82 14
83-87 16
88-92 18

STEP 2. Measure for the Cup Size

This measurement, in conjunction with your band size, will determine the cup letter (e.g., A, B, C).

  • How to Measure: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, which is typically at the nipple level. The tape should be firm but not tight, and parallel to the floor.
  • Determining Your Cup Size: Once you have your band size, use your bust measurement to find your corresponding cup size in a sizing chart. For instance, with a band size of 14, a bust measurement of around 96 cm would typically indicate a C cup.

Example Sizing Chart:

Band Size B Cup (cm) C Cup (cm) D Cup (cm)
12 89-91 91-93 93-95
14 94-96 96-98 98-100
16 99-101 101-103 103-105

MEASURING TIPS

For the most accurate measurements, keep the following in mind:

  • Wear a Non-Padded Bra: When taking your measurements, it is best to wear a non-padded, non-moulded bra to ensure you are measuring your natural breast shape.
  • Arm Position: Keep your arms straight down at your sides and relax your shoulders.
  • Between Sizes?: If your measurements fall between two sizes, it is generally recommended to opt for the larger size for comfort.
  • Check the Fit: The underband should be firm and horizontal across your back. The cups should fully contain your breasts without any spilling or gaping. The centre front of the bra should sit flat against your chest.

It's important to remember that sizing can vary slightly between different brands and styles.
